Founded in 1967, Swastik Cold Storage is one of the first cold storages in Begusarai, Bihar. Starting with a storage capacity of 1000 MT, it has now expanded to 4000 MT through two expansion projects undertaken in 1999 and 2009. It has been a long journey for us and along the way we have managed to better the livelihoods of thousands farmers by protecting their produce and reducing the associated post-harvest losses and aided the country in achieving food security.

Swastik Cold Storage is part of the Deva Group having interest in Real Estate, Investments and Agri Business across the sates of U.P. , West Bengal and Bihar

·  Warehousing

We provide state of  the art climate controlled warehousing facilities along with ancillary services such as handling, weighing and testing. We have a strong technical team of 5 personnel including a full time technical head which is available round the clock to man the refrigeration system. We follow stringent quality control measures and inspection of goods is carried out on a daily basis

 

Our facility is suitable for a wide range of products such as potatoes, gud (jiggery), dairy products, medicine, oils, general merchandise and other items requiring refrigerated storage

 

We currently enjoy a relationship with over a thousand farmers and traders across Begusarai and neighbouring districts

 

·  Loan against collateral

We aim to empower the farmers by fulfilling their much needed liquidity requirements,post harvest, by providing financing against warehouse receipts. This allows the farmer to participate in future upside while at the same time doing away with the need for entering into a distress sale at the time of harvest.

 

We combine our deep knowledge of the area and its people with robust risk management systems to reduce losses from defaults

We offer storage space on rent in different capacities – 1000 MT / 2000 MT / 3000 MT / 4000 MT. Request for smaller capacity can be accommodated depending upon requirement
